What an unforgettable evening at the Mazatzal Hotel Ballroom! From the ceremony to the dinner to the camaraderie, it was an honor to celebrate the legacy of the Corps with our community, families, and fellow Marines here in Rim Country.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, including Marine Barbara Ann, Marine Ellen Albreksen, Marine Tom Farley, Marine Greg Dunlap, Congressman and Veteran Eli Crane, and the many others who helped make this year’s ball truly special!

One thing remains constant on November 10th every year, the United States Marine Corps Birthday. It is the most underrated holiday of the year, just ask any Marine!
Join us for an unforgettable evening as the Rim Country Marines, Marine Corps League Detachment #928, proudly hosts the 250th Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the Mazatzal Casino on November 10, 2025. This night is about gathering Marines, veterans from all branches of service and Patriots to commemorate the Corps’ legacy over the past two and half centuries.
This prestigious event will celebrate the unwavering honor, courage and commitment of the United States Marine Corps. Set against the backdrop of tradition and patriotism, the ball promises a night of elegance, reverence and let’s not forget fun! Prepare to be captivated by the inspiring time honored rituals that date back to 1921, when the first birthday ball was held. As we gather to remember the Corps’ legacy, we also salute the sacrifices of Marines past and present. Don you finest attire and join us for a remarkable evening.
1700 – Cocktail Hour. Cash bar. Photographer, Mariah Vasquez, will be available.
1800 – Ceremony begins. Please be in your seats. Entry into the event will not be allowed once the ceremony begins. The bar will be closed during the ceremony and reopen afterwards.
1900 – A buffet style dinner is being served. Menu information will be updated.
2000 – Band & Dancing. Gunny Sack will be performing.
2300 – Venue Closes.
